On behalf of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, arrived on Wednesday in the Republic of Azerbaijan, leading the UAE delegation to the Summit Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement, which will start tomorrow (Thursday) in Baku in the presence of a large number of heads of state, prime ministers and representatives of Movement member states.

The RAK Ruler was welcomed at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport by Azeri Minister of Digital Development and Transportation, Rashad Nabiyev; and the Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, as well as the UAE ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohamed Murad Al Balushi along with a number of officials.

The summit, to be chaired by Azerbajain, will thrash out the prospects of strengthening cooperation and joint action towards issues of international concern as well as the Non-Aligned Movement's role in strenghtnieng collective action for the sake of establishing international peace, stability and security.

The RAK ruler is accompanied by a delegation comprising Abdulrahman bin Mohammad Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention, Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, Yousif Mohammed Al Serkal. Director-General of Emirates Health Services (EHS), and Hamad Al Rahma Al Shamsi, Director of the RAK Ruler Office.
