Egyptian TV presenter Amr Adib responded to those who questioned the quality of frozen Brazilian chicken during the live show.

Egypt started importing frozen chicken recently to cope with the crisis of high prices.

Adib explained that everything reported about its lack of quality is incorrect.

Adib indicated that he will conduct a practical experiment in front of the audience on air to cook Brazilian chicken, to dispel Egyptians' doubts about it and prove its nutritional quality, saying, “We will cook Brazilian chicken inside the studio and we will try it in different cooking methods until we are sure of its quality, and I will honestly say my opinion in front of the audience.”

Indeed, Adib tried Brazilian chicken on the air, during an episode, Sunday, of his program “The Story” on mbc channel.

He expressed his great admiration for its taste, and that it is no different from Egyptian chicken in anything.

He added that the prices of poultry and eggs have decreased, but the state must continue to import, because traders cannot currently be trusted in the issue of prices, pointing to the need for Brazilian chicken to continue in the Egyptian market to maintain balance.

The Egyptian market has witnessed a sharp rise in poultry prices recently, which led to the state's intervention and the introduction of frozen Brazilian chicken in the local market, but it faced rumors that it was not edible.
