VIDEO: Burj Khalifa lights up to celebrate Sultan Al Neyadi’s space mission

Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, was lit up on Sunday night to mark Sultan Al Neyadi’s mission to International Space Station, a historic milestone in Emirati history.
Emaar Dubai said on Twitter, “A towering tribute to an out-of-this-world achievement. Congratulations to Sultan Al Neyadi on his upcoming space mission! #BurjKhalifa…”
Astronaut Al Neyadi will embark on the historic journey for the entire Arab world, paving the way for next generations to be inspired by the his space feat.
Sultan Al-Neyadi, alng with Nasa's Stephen Bowen and Warren Hoburg and Russia's Andrey Fedyaev are scheduled to fly to the ISS on Feb.27 as members of SpaceX Dragon Crew-6.
The 41-year-old Emirati will become the first Arab astronaut to spend six months in space when he blasts off for the International Space Station aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.
The live coverage will begin from 7:15am (UAE time) while the liftoff will be at 10:45am.
Astronaut Hazzaa Al Mansoori said, “Sultan, this time, you will be carrying the UAE’s flag to the International Space Station. Be assured that we are here, supporting you in all the milestones of this mission. Have a great journey up there!”
Astronaut Mohammed Al Mulla also wished success to astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi.
