GCC citizens can't get Emirates ID by just paying fees, need to follow all procedures, clarifies UAE

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) has denied the promotional information attributed to it and circulated on social media platforms about GCC citizens being able to obtain the Emirates ID by paying the incurred fees only.

Calling on customers to beware of misleading advertisements, the ICP affirmed that to be included in the population register systems to obtain the Emirates ID requires the related conditions to be fulfilled in accordance with the regulating decisions, which have not undergone any changes.

The ICP called on all members of the society to ignore the said rumours and to obtain correct information from its trusted channels and the official government sources.
