NCM predicts moderate to partly cloudy weather in coming days

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said that the weather on Sunday would be moderate to partly cloudy and hazy at times.

Humid by night and Monday morning with a probability of fog or mist formation over some inland eastern areas.

The winds are expected to be moderate to fresh northwesterly, strong at times over the sea causing blowing dust and sand during daytime, with a speed of 15 – 30 reaching 50 km/hr.

The sea will be rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf and rough in the Oman Sea, the NCM added.

The temperatures expected on Sunday will be in the range of 18-22°C in Abu Dhabi, 18-23°C in Dubai, 17-24°C in Sharjah, 19-24°C in Ajman, 17-23°C in Umm Al Quwain, 17-25°C in Ras Al Khaimah, 20-28°C in Fujairah, 16-26°C in Al Ain, and 12-24°C in Liwa, according to the NCM statement.

It also indicated that the weather on Monday would be moderate to partly cloudy at times.

Humid by night and Tuesday morning with a probability of fog or mist formation over some inland areas. The winds will be northwesterly, moderate to fresh at times over the sea, with a speed of 15 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr.

The sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf especially westward and moderate to rough at times by night in the Oman Sea.

On Tuesday, the weather is said to be moderate to partly cloudy at times. Temperatures tend to increase gradually.

Humid by night and Wednesday morning with a chance of fog or mist formation over some inland and northern areas. The winds will be northwesterly, light to moderate and fresh at times over the sea during daytime with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr.

The will be moderate to rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough at times by night in the Oman Sea.
