The Dubai ambulance received a report stating that a man in his forties had suffered a health problem, and the ambulance team responded to the tip off in record time.

After their arrival at the place, it was clear, through the initial assessment, that the patient's pulse and breathing had stopped, so they started resuscitating his heart and stimulating it with electric shocks.

The emergency doctor, Dr Heba Ezzat, rushed to the patient's place, examined him, and completed the advanced treatment as soon as he restored his pulse. After his health condition became stable he was transferred to the nearest hospital.

Mishaal Julfar, Executive Director of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, honoured the ambulance team who contributed to saving the man, as their efforts were the reason for his return to normal life.

He also praised the efforts of the team, including Dr Heba Ezzat, Majed Al Zarei, Ahmed Hindi Mansour, Denso Dalisi Reis, and Alaa Mohammed Obeidat, as their quick response and professional handling of the case and its rescue added to the Corporation’s achievements of which it is proud.

The patient was transferred under ambulatory care to the intensive care unit at Mediclinic Park View. The interventional cardiology consultant said that the patient's condition required a therapeutic catheterisation and the installation of a stent as a result of blockage of the main coronary artery, which contributed to the stability of his condition.
