‘You are 16 going on 17. Baby it's time to think. Better beware. Be canny and careful. Baby you're on the brink.’ The lyrics from this song haunt movie buffs nearly 60 years after the global blockbuster and Julie Andrews starrer The Sound of Music has been released. The song is sung by Julie Andrews’ daughter along with her boyfriend in the film.

It feels good to look young and fresh as a daisy, but is this possible always, particularly when age is catching up with you? One 45-year-old American millionaire thinks so. Bryan Johnson, a biotech pioneer, wants to look, hang on, 18 always! He seeks to reverse the ageing process in all his 78 organs. And he is forking out a whopping amount for that.

The medical routine that he is undergoing will cost him $2million per year, according to media reports. The expenses will be on cosmetic injections for facial restoration, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections for hair loss, laser treatments, MRIs and colonoscopies.

He is being treated by over 30 medical professionals. The team is being led by a 29-year-old physician, Oliver Zolman, who is bent on stopping Johnson’s organs from ageing.

The magnate consumes 1,977 calories per day. He takes many supplements and eats several times a day – he is a vegan.

He does 25 different exercises during his hour-long workout regimen every morning. To cap it all, there are over 33,000 pictures of his bowels.

The effects are already showing: he has developed the lung capacity and stamina of an 18-year-old, the heart of a 37-year-old and the skin of a 28-year-old.

Wonder what his 18-year-old son thinks.
