Social media users have circulated a video documenting the moment a fifth-generation American F-35 fighter crashed during a test flight at Fort Worth Air Force Base, Texas, according to media reports.

The circulating video shows the moment of the sudden landing of the fighter, which is manufactured by the American company Lockheed Martin for military industries, on the floor of the runway violently, which caused its nose to hit the ground. Smoke rose from it.

The video showed the pilot ejected from the crashed plane in a dramatic scene.

Lockheed issued a statement about the crash, “We are aware that the F-35B crashed on the runway at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth and that the pilot successfully ejected. Safety is our priority, and we will follow appropriate investigative protocol.”
