Motorists in Fujairah can avail 50% discount on traffic fines

The Fujairah Police announced a 50 per cent discount on the value of traffic fines, cancellation of traffic points, and the value of vehicle impoundment, as of November 29, 2022.
This decision, which came under the directives Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, will continue effective for 60 days for the traffic violations recorded before November 26, 2022.
This does not apply to the critical violations.
Major General Mohammad Ahmed Bin Ghanim Al Kaabi, Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police, confirmed that the decision reflects Sheikh Mohammed’s keenness to make citizens and residents happy on the occasion of the UAE’s 51st National Day.
He also indicated that the Fujairah Police are keen to implement the initiatives that bring joy and pleasure to the customers, and help them complete their traffic transactions easily.
For his part, the Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, Colonel Saleh Mohammad Al Dhanhani, called on the community members to seize the opportunity and benefit from the discount during this period.
