The Abu Dhabi Court for Family and Civil and Administrative Cases obligated a man to pay Dhs47,000 to a company as service fees for an apartment he bought in a residential city. The company responsible for the management, maintenance and operation of the residential city filed the lawsuit after the appellee stopped paying fees for services.

It demanded in its lawsuit that the appellee be obligated to pay Dhs47,000, besides the fees and expenses of the lawsuit, noting that he bought an apartment from it within a residential city project, and it was agreed in the contract on his commitment to pay the residential city and service fees.

The company indicated that it was responsible for managing, maintaining and operating the real estate, but the appellee stopped paying the service fees. The appellee requested a delay to contact the complainant to pay the amount in installments, but he did not attend before the proceedings office.
