A 61-year-old man from Majalengka Regency, West Java, Indonesia is set to marry for the 88th time in his single lifetime.

The man, identified by local media as Kaan, is set to marry his ex-wife from his 86th marriage, local media reported.

The man was nicknamed "Playboy King" for getting married so many times.

The 61-year-old is a farmer and said he couldn't refuse the woman to come back to him.

"Even though it's been a long time since we broke up, the love between us is still strong," the farmer told the media.

The groom-for-so-many years revealed that his ex-wife is still in love with him even though their marriage lasted a month at the time.

Kaan shared that he first got married when he was just 14 and his first wife was two years older than him.

He told the media, "Due to my bad attitude at the time, my wife filed for divorce after two years of marriage.

He did not delve into the "bad attitude."

Due to that incident, Kaan admitted that he was angry, so he sought "spiritual" knowledge to make many women fall in love with him.

He said, "But I don't want to do things that aren't good for women.

“I also refuse to play with their emotions.”

He added, "Rather than committing immorality, it is better that I get married.”

There is no information on how many children Kaan has from his 87 marriages.

From documents and reports, it was learnt that Kaan’s longest marriage lasted 24 years, while his shortest one lasted only a week.

He also said he once had five wives at a time.
