In a delightful scene, the President of Chile, Gabriel Boric, appeared riding a bicycle in a street heading to the Presidential Palace of La Moneda, which made all passers-by in a state of dazzle and also attracted the media.

A video clip of Boric riding his bicycle to highlight climate change and environmental regulation went viral.

Boric is Chile's youngest president.

Boric took office in March 2022 pledging to take a strong stand on climate change and reduce emissions as fast as possible.

The youngest president was born in February 1986 in Punta Arenas and was one of the faces of the student movement in 2011.

He also served as a deputy in the Chilean parliament since 2014 before becoming the radical left candidate in the 2021 presidential elections, which he won in the second round after receiving 56 per cent of the vote.

Boric takes a positive position on the Palestinian issue.

It is noteworthy that the Palestinian community in the country had congratulated President Boric after his victory in the elections, through a letter signed by the President of the Palestinian Authority.
