UAE flag flutters in the skies thanks to wise leadership, says Sheikh Mansour

Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, extended his warmest congratulations and blessings on the occasion of Flag Day to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Their Highnesses Sheikhs, members of the Supreme Council of the Union, Rulers of the Emirates, and all the people of the Emirates.

This came during a ceremony held at Qasr Al Watan, which began with the raising of the UAE flag by Sheikh Mansour with the national anthem playing in the background.

Sheikh Mansour said that the UAE flag will continue to flutter in the skies of glory and sovereignty, thanks to the vision and wisdom of the wise leadership of Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed and the efforts of the people of the country who stand behind the leadership of their country, and who seek with all determination to implement its directives in order for the UAE to remain a fortress of honour, a home of dignity, a beacon of pride and an oasis of peace and tolerance that flaunts the world with its civilizational achievements, humanitarian initiatives and major development projects.

Sheikh Mansour added that this day represents an occasion dear to the hearts of all the people of the Emirates, as we recall with appreciation and gratitude the great efforts and great sacrifices of the founding leader, the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, his brothers the founding fathers, and the late Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in order to build the nation, preserve its sovereignty and ensure its leadership, asking God to preserve the leadership of the Emirates and its people, and to perpetuate the blessings of goodness, security and prosperity for the state.
