UAE embassy calls on nationals in Seoul to avoid crowded places

The UAE Embassy in Seoul called on nationals of the country in South Korea to avoid crowded celebrations and gatherings for their own safety.
The authorities urged them to contact them via the phone number: 00971280024 for emergency cases.
On Sunday, the UAE expressed its sincere condolences and solidarity with the Republic of South Korea for the victims of the stampede that occurred in Itaewon in the capital, Seoul, which resulted in deaths of more than 150 people.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation expressed its sincere condolences to the government and friendly people of the Republic of South Korea, and to the families of the victims in this painful situation, and prayed for a speedy recovery of the injured.
