Man firebombs immigration centre in Britain, commits suicide
A man threw petrol bombs attached with a firecracker at a migrant center in the southern English port city of Dover on Sunday, and then committed suicide.
According to Reuters photographer the attacker, a white man wearing a striped shirt, arrived at the center in a white SEAT sports car, then got out of it and threw three petrol bombs, none of which caught fire.
He added that after the attack, the man drove the car to a nearby gas station, wrapped a rope around a metal pole and his neck, and drove off, killing himself on the spot.
Police arrived minutes later and cordoned off the area.
A video clip shared by a journalist on social media showed the centre's workers putting out a small fire at the outer wall of the building.
