A husband filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife accusing her of stealing Dhs70,000 from his safe without his knowledge and consent, during their marriage. The Abu Dhabi Family Court and Civil and Administrative Cases rejected the case.

The details of the case date back to an earlier time when the husband filed his lawsuit before the Abu Dhabi Family Court and the civil and administrative cases, in which he demanded to obligate his ex-wife to pay him Dhs85,000, which she allegedly took from his safe without his consent.

He also demanded that she would be sworn before the court to affirm that she did not take Dhs70,000 from his safe or receive Dhs15,000 from him for school transportation fees for their children. In his lawsuit, the man indicated that the appallee was his wife and they had three children.

He added that she knew the secret number of his treasury, and that she told him that she had taken the amount and promised to return it.

He also affirmed that the appallee delayed returning the amount, and that she had filed several lawsuits against him to demand spousal expenses and also divorce.

The appellant added that the appallee asked him for Dhs15,000 for transportation expenses of the boys’ schools, and that he sent the money to her with his daughter, then she denied receiving the money and demanded him to send it again and he already did.
