The Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrols Directorate warned motorists to avoid stopping in the middle of the road for any reason.

They are advised to take the nearest exit to ensure the safety of other road users.

In the event that the vehicle cannot be moved, motorists must immediately dial 999 to receive assistance.

Motorists are urged to leave a sufficient and safe distance to avoid sudden stopping of vehicles in highways and internal roads during traffic jams.

Obeying traffic laws and adhering to safe driving etiquette help prevent road users from behaving inappropriately in the road.

Motorists are also cautioned about the dangers of texting and other forms of distraction while driving, which can lead to traffic accidents.
