Mountaineer airlifted to hospital after breathing difficulty in Kalba

The National Search and Rescue Centre (NSRC), on Saturday, conducted a medical evacuation mission for a person who was suffering from breathing difficulty and extreme fatigue while practicing mountaineering in the Kalba.
The case warranted an immediate response, NSRC said.
The site was checked by the operation team of NSRC. With the capabilities of NSRC's search and rescue aircraft, the SAR team was able to evacuate the patient from peak of mountain to Kalba Hospital to receive the necessary treatment.
