A young Russian has started a live broadcast of burning gas around the clock for an entire month with the aim of angering Europeans.

The young man said that lighting the cooking gas at full capacity for a month without stopping would cost him the equivalent of only 1.44 euros.

The Russian company, "Gazprom," stopped gas supplies through the "Nord Stream 1" line, which transports gas to Europe at the end of last August, which prompted the European Union countries to adopt many measures with the aim of reducing gas consumption in the Union and finding alternatives to Russian gas, among other measures.

Flows have been halted through this pipeline since August 31 for maintenance operations that were supposed to extend for only three days, but the pipeline has not resumed operations and Moscow has blamed the supply disruptions on Western sanctions and technical problems.

The Russian authorities accuse European leaders of being responsible for the difficulties in delivering gas shipments, stressing that the sanctions imposed on Moscow following its operation in Ukraine have deprived the Nord Stream gas pipeline of equipment that ensures its proper functioning.
