The conference began with a speech by Sheikh Salem, in which he said: “I welcome you to this conference, which is being held in co-operation with the Global Knowledge Exchange Foundation.

It saddens me that we miss today a dear colleague and friend we knew in all our previous conferences.

He was James Chang, CEO and President of Global Knowledge Exchange Foundation, who passed away suddenly at his residence in New York a few weeks ago.” “Leadership is a word that everyone is competing for, excellence is a demand that we all aspire to and innovation is a tool to achieve both, hopefully during this conference.

Undoubtedly, our GCC countries have made a remarkable stride in these areas, thanks to the directives of their political leaders to accelerate sustainable development at all levels.

The achievements that we have accomplished globally today are the best proof of that. The Hope Probe raises the name of the UAE in space, Saudi Arabia’s city of Neom fascinates the world, Doha hosts world athletes, Bahrain carries on its leadership in Formula, Kuwait is the first to establish the artistic movement and Oman still has its unique mixture of originality and modernity,” he added.

“To support this blessed march, we devoted this conference to presenting live examples of practical experiences or what is known as ‘Best Practice.’

Over four sessions, more than 30 sustainable development pioneers spoke about the most prominent stations in their professional career, and the lessons learned from them, so that the children would be familiarized with the experiences of the fathers to benefit from the experiences of these prominent people that are honored today.

We congratulate the pioneers who will be honored today and thank the association for hosting the conference,” he said.
