The Aviation Department at the Abu Dhabi Police airlifted a medical crew to perform an urgent caesarean section for a pregnant Arab mother, who was in critical condition at Delma Island Hospital.

The helicopter, after the delivery, lifted the woman’s premature twins to Madinat Zayed Hospital in the Al Dhafra Region.

The mission began from Madinat Zayed Hospital, where the medical crew was airlifted to the mother's site at Delma Island Hospital, where it performed a successful caesarean section for her in the birth of premature twins, who were transferred in the incubator by the helicopter to Madinat Zayed Hospital to receive the necessary care.

Abu Dhabi Police Aviation explained that the incubator is a device used during air ambulance operations to provide a full intensive medical care to premature children, who need to be transferred between hospitals.
