Two thieves on a moped confronted a Lebanese man to stop his car near the capital's airport road in an attempt to rob the man.
The panicked man stopped on the busy road. A thief approached the man with a gun asking him to get out of the car. But the man bravely drives the car towards one of the robbers.
The armed thief manages to dodge the car, but the other one waiting in the moped was hit by the car with the rider landing on its bonnet.
The SUV owner kept on driving from sometime before shrugging off the man from his bonnet to leave the scene.
Social media users shared the video of the failed robbery that went viral.
The motorist told the media that he decided to confront the thieves, and wanted to teach them a harsh lesson.
Netizens have praised the brave driver and called for policing in that part of the area.
