VIDEO: Kuwaiti security officer arrested for queue jumping and using authority at shopping centre
A videograb shows the security officer using his authority at shopping centre in Kuwait City.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced that the Criminal Security Sector managed to arrest a person who appeared in a video clip, wearing the “special forces” military uniform, and using force and authority with people in a shopping mall.
The ministry said on Twitter, "It turned out that this person is an employee of the ministry, and he has been referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal measures against him."
The video showed the man in military fatigue forcefully removing products of other people waiting in the queue.
He then puts his stuff at the counter and asks the cashier make the bill.
The video showed men and women quietly waiting for their turn as the man forcefully makes his way.
The authorities said that this kind of behaviour has no place in the society, and especially in the security forces.
One must have discipline and respect for all.
It is believed the man has been suspended from the duty for the intolerable behaviour.
