The Dubai criminal court fined an Arab female doctor Dhs3,000 and her husband Dhs2,000, after the doctor and her sister assaulted her husband’s second wife in her bedroom.

In reaction the husband attacked the doctor and her sister, who was acquitted by the court, and drove them away from the house.

The case dates back to September 2021, when a doctor filed a report stating that her husband attacked her inside their house.

She added that when she went to her residence on the evening of the incident, she found him with another woman, whom he said she was his second wife, and then he beat her up.

The doctor added that her husband had driven her away with their two children from the apartment nine months before the incident, following a dispute between them.

The second wife said that she was attacked by a woman and her sister, who turned out to be the first wife of her husband.

They reportedly broke into her bedroom on the evening of the incident and beat her up.

The husband said that on the evening of the incident, his first wife, accompanied by her sister, entered the apartment by force and headed to the bedroom, where his second wife was asleep, then he heard his first wife and her sister screaming at his second, whom they tried to pull out of the room. He added he tried to get them out, but they refused, so he called the police.

The first wife reported that she went with her sister to her house to bring some private staff but she was attacked by her husband as soon as she entered the apartment. She denied assaulting the second wife.
