Bukhatir Education Advancement and Management International (BEAM), which operates the International School of Creative Science (ISCS) and American School of Creative Science (ASCS) schools in Dubai and Sharjah, has reached out to parents with a series of financial relief measures to support them during the current crisis.
His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has directed the authority to provide scholarships in the Khorfakkan University for the Emirati students, who meet the requirements, and 30 per cent discount on the tuition fees for the Emirati students from outside the emirate, and residents from within and outside the emirate, who do not meet the scholarship’s requirements.
Sheikh Sultan instructed the people concerned to give back the scholarships withdrawn from students, whose average was less than 2, numbering 2,233 male and female students in all majors at UoS and AUS.

The authorities said, “Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority teams are dealing with a fire that broke out this evening at a warehouse in Mussafah industrial area.
"Every year, over 400m tonnes of plastic is produced worldwide - one-third of which is used just once,” said Antonio Guterres. "Every day, the equivalent of over 2,000 garbage trucks full of plastic is dumped into our oceans, rivers, and lakes.”
