Paid parking in Khorfakkan to be effective from Aug. 15

The Khorfakkan City Municipality announced on Thursday that the paid parking system in Khorfakkan would be effective as of August 15, 2022.

Recently, the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) revealed the details of its integrated architectural and tourism project on Khorfakkan Beach, which includes a 75-room hotel managed by Marriott International and a water park, the first of its kinds in the Eastern Region. The project, which will be officially opened in 2024, also includes over 200 residential apartments and units to be offered for sale shortly.
