An investigation of family violence revealed a murder committed by a stepfather of a child who died as a result of his torture.

The Lebanese General Security Directorate clarified the circumstances of the accused's abuse of his wife, and the torture of her two children from a previous marriage until her daughter passed away.

The Lebanese security statement indicated that the competent authorities got information about the accused beating and abusing his wife and her two children.

In the investigations, the wife said that she had indeed been abused by her husband, and that he had killed her 5-year-old daughter because of his severe beatings.

In turn, the accused admitted what was attributed to him, and that he put the girl's body in a bag, and then transported it to a site where he buried her.

During the examination of the body by the forensic doctor, it was found that the victim had suffered several fractures and burns in different parts of her body.
