During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed and Dr Al Kadhimi discussed ways to enhance their bilateral relations to serve their interests of their countries, as well as advancing their cooperation and coordination across a number of developmental, economic and investment sectors. They also exchanged views on a number of regional and global issues of mutual concern.

Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed also received Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait, on the sidelines of the Jeddah Security and Development Summit.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Kuwaiti Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah to Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed and his wishes for more progress and prosperity for the UAE and its people.

Sheikh Mohamed conveyed his greetings to the Kuwaiti Amir, wishing Kuwait and its people continuous development and prosperity.
During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed and Sheikh Mishal discussed UAE-Kuwait relations and ways to enhance them to serve the interests of their countries and peoples, as well as support joint work among GCC countries. They also exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual concern.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Tahnoun Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser, Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Dr Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Dr Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, Ali Bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council, and Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority.
Attending from the Iraqi side were Ali Allawi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Fuad Hussein, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ihsan Abdul Jabbar Ismail, Minister of Oil, and Alaa Al Jabouri, Minister of Trade.
Attendees from the Kuwaiti side included Sheikh Talal Khaled Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Sheikh Dr Ahmed Nasser Al Mohammed Al Sabah, Kuwait's Foreign Minister, and Abdulwahab Al Rashid, Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic and Investment Affairs.
At the beginning of the meeting, which was held at Qasr Al Shati Palace, Sheikh Mohamed congratulated Munir on his appointment as Pakistan's chief of army staff, wishing him luck in his new duties to serve his country and people.
