His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved a financial promotion for 450 non-commissioned officers working in Sharjah Police General Headquarters until they join and graduate from the officers course.
The officers course will be organised by the Sharjah Police General Headquarters in co-ordination with the Sharjah Police Sciences Academy.
This was announced by Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, via the Direct Line Programme broadcast live from Sharjah Radio and TV.
Thanking Sheikh Sultan for his boost, Al Shamsi stressed Sharjah Ruler’s continuous keenness on supporting those working in the police and providing them with all means of decent life through his continuous boosts that would bring happiness to them and their families.
Al Shamsi extended his congratulations and blessings to all Sharjah Police personnel who were included in Sheikh Sultan’s decision, hoping that the boost would motivate them to double their efforts to achieve excellence and be in the lead in their careers to serve their country and society.
Dr Sheikh Sultan approved a number of new projects that the ALA will work to implement in coordination with partners from institutions concerned with the Arabic language from different countries of the world.
Sheikh Sultan visited the pavilion of the Emirates School Foundation, Sharjah Education Council, Sharjah Private Education Authority, and the MoE, where he was familiarised with means and tools of teaching children, in addition to the various educational publications provided by authorities.
Sheikh Sultan honoured the winners of the 3rd cycle of the ICCROM-Sharjah Award for Good Practices in Cultural Heritage Conservation and Management in the Arab Region; and the 2nd cycle of the Arab Cultural Heritage Award for the Young.
During the meeting, Sheikh Sultan was briefed on a number of the AUS' achievements in various fields, praising the board for deepening their efforts to accelerate the university's growth and following up the developing plans with the help of the university's faculties and students.
During the meeting, they discussed friendship relations and various aspects of cooperation and coordination between the UAE and the United States of America, especially in the defence and military sectors.
