Sharjah Ruler issues Emiri Decree renaming General Directorate of Civil Defence

Sheikh Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an Emiri Decree renaming the Sharjah General Directorate of Civil Defence (SGDCD).

Emiri Decree No. (44) stipulated that the name of "Sharjah General Department of Civil Defence" shall be replaced with "Sharjah Civil Defence Authority", wherever it appears in the legislation and all administrative, financial, legal and other matters.
