Sheikh Humaid extended his appreciation for the significant efforts of the UAE’s leadership, as well as its keenness to support the process of education and create a suitable environment for higher education establishments to perform their roles.
He stressed that President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates have prioritised education in the national agenda for the upcoming 50 years.
"Today, we commemorate, with great appreciation and gratitude, the noble values and principles instilled by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who made knowledge and education the key to achieving development and progress," he said.
Sheikh Humaid then highlighted the pride of the country's citizens in its educational successes, noting that human development is the ultimate goal for achieving development.
Ajman has become an academic beacon of knowledge and a key educational hub hosting several universities, he added, noting that the Ajman Government believes that universities are part of the emirate’s process of development.
Sheikh Humaid also pointed out that the graduation of a new batch of students will come up with new ideas among the community and support the message of the university, as well as boost its stature as one of the country’s leading academic establishments.
Sheikh Humaid thanked the university’s board and teaching, administrative and technical staff, as well as its other employees, and congratulated the graduates on their distinguished achievement.
