His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Friday said on Instagram that people across the world know about the UAE’s achievements and that he wants the UAE to be a key player in all sectors.

He also said that a leader does not lead by brute force, but by being decisive and inspiring people.

Sheikh Mohammed shared some of his thoughts and views under the #Flashes of Leadership on Instagram, saying, “The UAE is the nation it is today, because of Sheikh Zayed’s vision. People across the world know about our nation’s achievements.

I want the UAE to be a key player in all sectors. We have so many opportunities ahead of us. A leader does not lead by brute force, but by being decisive and inspiring people. We must work together as a team to ensure the UAE become a leader among nations.”

Sheikh Mohammed launched the #Flashes of Leadership on Instagram under which he weekly shares his experiences and leadership vision.

Last week, Sheikh Mohammed said reading is nourishment for the soul and mind and that history teaches us that civilizations rise and nations prosper through knowledge.

He elaborated, “Reading is nourishment for the soul and mind. The first word revealed in the Quran was “Read”. History teaches us that civilizations rise and nations prosper through knowledge. Knowledge is endless and it never stops. For me, when a day pass without learning anything new, I consider it a wasted day of my life.”
