Islamic Forum’s 22nd scientific session kicks off in Sharjah

Dubbed "The Migration Route" the session is running between 18th and 30th June. WAM

The activities of the twenty-second scientific session organised by the Islamic Forum under the patronage of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has kicked off at Al Maghfirah Mosque.

Dubbed "The Migration Route" the session is running between 18th and 30th June.

Lecturer Prof Dr. Abdul Sami’ Mohammed Al Anees, Professor of Hadith and its Sciences, at the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at the University of Sharjah, discussed the events of the migration of the Prophet to Madinah, in the presence of more than 600 participants from inside and outside the country, who joined the programme, which includes 4 lectures per day on seven scientific topics.

In a press statement, Dr. Majid Bushalibi, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Islamic Forum and Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee for the scientific session, praised the generous care that the scientific session receives annually by H.H. the Ruler of Sharjah, and his interest in Islamic culture in general, so that Sharjah has become an ideal scientific and cultural environment and an edifice.
