His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Friday (June 17, 2022), on Instagram and said reading is nourishment for the soul and mind and that history teaches us that civilizations rise and nations prosper through knowledge.
Sheikh Mohammed shared some of his thoughts and views under the #Flashes of Leadership on “Instagram”, saying, “Reading is nourishment for the soul and mind. The first word revealed in the Quran was ‘Read.’
“History teaches us that civilizations rise and nations prosper through knowledge.
“Knowledge is endless and it never stops. For me, when a day pass without learning anything new, I consider it a wasted day of my life.”
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid launched the #Flashes of Leadership on Instagram under which he weekly shares his experiences and leadership vision.
Recently, Sheikh Mohammed said, “Since its inception, the UAE has been on a journey to create a brighter future. A journey to open new horizons of progress for our nation, our people and upcoming generations.”
“We do not merely envision the future, but also we make it happen. Inspired by our past, we continue to work to create a better world. We are the nation of the future,” he said.
