The Jordanian city of Irbid witnessed a tragic accident, after a 6-year-old girl was accidentally killed by her father while he was cleaning his firearm, according to local media published.
According to the Jordanian General Security statement, the incident began when the girl's father wanted to clean his firearm, as the girl sat next to him. The statement indicated that the girl breathed her last at the hospital.
The doctors said that she arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds and succumbed to injuries.
Social media activists sympathised with the tragic incident, calling on the concerned authorities to seize the weapons available without a license.
