His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, announced that Khorfakkan University will open next Wednesday, and next year as the date for the opening of Kalba University.

Sheikh Sultan told the direct line: Next Wednesday, we will open Khorfakkan University, which will include a new addition, the "College of Marine Sciences" concerned with marine sciences and fish, and Kalba University will open its doors to students next year.

The Sharjah Ruler stressed that each university established in the emirate will have different specializations and heritage.

The University of Kalba, which will open its doors next year, will include different disciplines and will be interested in sports sciences, and the University of Al Dhaid will focus on agriculture and livestock to benefit from them in the cow breeding and plant breeding project.
