Two Asians lured an Asian girl to a villa rented by one of them where they raped her and stole Dhs7,000 that was in her possession.

They also forced her to give them her password for a shopping app and transfer Dhs180,000 from her bank account to several people in their home country.

The criminal court sentenced them to 10 years in jail to be followed by deportation and fined them Dhs187,000.

According to the details of the case that dates back to October last year, an Asian young man invited an Asian girl to drink coffee and take a walk and she agreed to the suspect’s request.

The victim stated in the investigations that the suspect, accompanied by another man, arrived at the agreed time and asked her to get into their car in which they moved directly to a villa, adding that they forced her into the villa after tying and gagging her with adhesive tape.

The victim added that after they kidnapped her, the suspects stole Dhs7,000 that was in her possession before they forced her to give them her ATM card and PIN and as a result they were able to access a shopping site and buy items worth Dhs180,000 for several people in their home country.

The two suspects raped her and used the mobile phone of one of them to film her in indecent positions, the victim said.

The suspects kept the videos and her passport and threatened that they would post the videos on social media.

She, however, managed to escape from the villa two days later and reported the incident to the police.

A policeman stated in the investigations that a team of detectives managed to identify the two suspects. Following further investigations, the police found that the suspects left their place of residence and rented a hotel apartment in Al Riqqa area.

The suspects were arrested and one of them confessed that he got to know the girl via social media and agreed with her to have sex for Dhs3,000. On the day of the incident, the girl arrived in the agreed place and got into his car, in which she met the second suspect, he said.

He added that they covered her eyes and gagged her before they forced her into their place of residence, where they raped her and filmed her in indecent positions for threatening her not to report them to the police.

The policeman added that he found video clips in the suspect’s mobile phone.
