Giving martyrs’ families all support top priority of UAE

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan received on Tuesday at Qasr Al Bahr a delegation from the Martyrs’ Families’ Affairs Office at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, and Wahat Al Karama, Abu Dhabi’s national and cultural landmark designed to commemorate the sacrifices and heroic deeds of UAE martyrs. The delegation was accompanied by Sheikh Khalifa Bin Tahnoun Bin Mohammad Al Nahyan, Executive Director of the Martyrs’ Families’ Affairs Office.

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed was briefed about the Office’s programmes and initiatives for the wellbeing and welfare of the martyrs’ families.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed said, ‘’The responsibility of following up on the affairs of martyrs’ families and children, and providing them with all forms of support and care will always be on the top of our priorities.’’ He affirmed that he would be in direct contact with them to meet their needs, support and empower them.

In turn, members of the delegation expressed their pride in serving the nation’s fallen heroes and their appreciation for Sheikh Mohamed’s continuous support and care for the martyrs’ families and children.

MOHAMED RECEIVES ADNOC DELEGATION, LAUDS COMPANY’S YOUTH EMPOWERMENT EFFORTS:
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Tuesday received the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) team, accompanied by Dr. Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNOC.

During the meeting, which took place at Qasr Al Bahr, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed praised ADNOC’s role in empowering, preparing and training young Emiratis, highlighting the importance of ADNOC’s experience in enabling youth to take on senior and leadership roles in the company.

The UAE President stressed that the UAE makes diligent efforts to provide Emiratis with access to training and help develop exceptional national expertise. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed urged the UAE citizens to double their efforts, hone their skills and make concerted efforts to help drive the UAE’s development and add to its achievements across various fields.

For his part, Dr. Al Jaber said that ADNOC has worked tirelessly to create new opportunities that enable UAE citizens to invest in its projects and businesses and contribute to accelerating economic growth in the UAE over the course of the next fifty years.

He added that ADNOC’s In-Country Value (ICV) programme, launched in 2018, helped create over 3,000 jobs for highly skilled and qualified citizens in the private sector, noting that the programme was later implemented nationwide, in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, due to the success it achieved.
