UAE sees 364 new coronavirus cases in 24 hours

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced 364 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 904,830.

The ministry stressed in a statement that its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

As part of its intensified testing campaign, MoHAP announced that it conducted 232,385 additional COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours, using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment.

The infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and receiving the necessary care, according to the ministry.

The Ministry added that no COVID-19-related deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 2,302.

MoHAP also noted that an additional 356 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 888,584.

MoHAP has announced that 9,301 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were given in the past 24 hours.

The total number of doses provided up to Sunday stands at 24,854,107 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 251.30 doses per 100 people.
