UAE Rulers gather in Abu Dhabi to celebrate Eid
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed hold talks at Al Mushrif Palace.
The Rulers of the UAE, Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers, conveyed their warmest wishes and congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, praying to the Almighty Allah to bless Sheikh Khalifa good health, wellness, happiness, and long life, and keep him as an asset to the nation and a leader in its path of glory and honour, and a reinforcer of its gains.
This came during the reception of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on Monday, at Al Mushrif Palace, Their Highnesses Sheikhs Members of the Federal Supreme Council are Rulers of the Emirates, and the Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed received His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, and His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.

Sharjah Ruler performs Eid Al Fitr prayer at Al Badee Musallah
During the meeting, UAE rulers exchanged cordial fraternal conversations on this happy occasion.
They called on everyone on this blessed occasion to preserve the land of goodness and giving and to perpetuate the blessings of security, safety and prosperity, and to reconcile its steps in its blessed path towards progress and prosperity that it seeks for its children and future generations.
President Sheikh Khalifa received messages of congratulations on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr from Kings, Presidents, and Emirs of Arab and Islamic countries.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed also received similar congratulatory messages on the occasion.
Earlier in the day, Sheikh Mohamed has performed Eid Al Fitr prayer alongside worshipers at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
Performing prayers by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed's side were a number of Sheikhs, senior officials, dignitaries, citizens and residents.
Dr Mohammed Matar Al Kaabi, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, delivered the sermon, during which he spoke about the significance of the occasion and the noble values it holds. He also pointed out that Eid is an occasion to strengthen communication with family, creating love and affection between relatives.
He wished President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan good health and further progress and pride to the UAE and its people.
He also prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest the souls of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding rulers and the UAE martyrs in Paradise.
