Gulf Today, Staff Reporter

Saudi Civil Defence rescued some people stuck in the floods after heavy rainfall in the kingdom.

Saudis shared video clips showing the Civil Defense teams braving floods in the Arar region to rescue a stranded citizen in the car swept away by floods.

Saudi youths on social media interacted with the Civil Defense and praised their rescue efforts during the recent floods, saving the lives of hundreds of people who were stuck in waters.

The Civil Defence also published warnings about the bad weather condition in some regions of the Kingdom, and called for adherence to instructions and to stay away from dangerous places and valleys.

It is noteworthy that the National Center of Meteorology in Saudi Arabia had indicated in its weather report two days ago that there would be thunderstorms accompanied by hail, leading to floods and winds in parts of Najran, Jazan, Asir and Al Baha regions. Some parts of Makkah and Madinah would be affected.
