Sheikh Sultan receives Kurdistan PM at American University of Sharjah

Dr Sheikh Sultan welcomes Masrour Barzani and his accompanying delegation, wishing them a pleasant stay in the UAE.

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and President of the American University of Sharjah (AUS), received Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government, on Sunday, in His Highness’ office at the university.

Dr Sheikh Sultan welcomed Masrour Barzani and his accompanying delegation in Sharjah, wishing them a pleasant stay in the UAE.

The Ruler of Sharjah exchanged joint conversations with Masrour Barzani on various topics concerning education, culture, development, and others issues, in addition to discussing opportunities to deepen the relations and enhance cooperation between the two states.

The two sides also discussed the cultural experience of Sharjah, that spans over 40 years, and which was reflected in the level of civilisation and the high position that Sharjah assumed regionally and globally.

At the end of the meeting, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Barzani exchanged gifts and souvenirs.
