The Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen thwarted on Friday 16 hostile attacks carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia, targeting civilian and economic facilities in Saudi Arabia, including the use of drones and ballistic missiles.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted the "Coalition to Support Legitimacy" as thwarting all hostile attempts to target the southern, central and eastern regions, stressing that the Houthi hostile attempts escalate a threat targeting energy security and the backbone of the global economy.

The coalition statement said: "We are exercising restraint for the sake of our Yemeni brothers to make the consultations successful. We warn the Houthis not to persist in their grave violations and not to test the patience of the coalition.”

The coalition affirmed its support for the Gulf and international position for the success of the Yemeni consultations, at a time when the Houthis are working to thwart them.

The coalition clarified that the hostile attempts deliberately targeted civilian objects and energy facilities, warning that the continuation of Houthi hostilities threatens regional and international security, stressing that it is still monitoring and monitoring the sources of hostilities and exercising restraint.

The Houthi militia attacks, which were carried out with ballistic missiles, and a number of drones targeted the regions of Najran, Jizan and Asir, the National Water Company tanks in Dhahran Al-Janoub, and an electricity distribution station in Samtah, and a ballistic missile fired towards the city of Jizan was destroyed.

The attacks also resulted in material damage to some civilian vehicles and residential homes.

The "Coalition to Support Legitimacy" published video clips documenting the process of intercepting and destroying the booby-trapped Houthi marches launched to target civilian objects and economic facilities in Saudi Arabia.
