In their endeavour of ensuring the highest levels of happiness and customer satisfaction, the Dubai Police have officially unveiled a new police station in the Al Khawaneej area.

The Police Station was inaugurated by Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the Commander-in-chief of Dubai Police, in the presence of Abdulla Al Basti, Secretary-General (SG) of the Executive Council of Dubai, Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair, Chairman of Dubai Chambers, Expert Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs, Mohammed Juma Al Naboodah and several senior officers.

Al Marri said the new facility reflects Dubai Police's keenness to provide a safe and secure environment that contributes to making Dubai the safest and happiest city in the world.

“It is proof of the force's endeavour to enhance security in all areas around the emirate with police stations equipped with smart solutions and services to ensure community happiness and fast response to emergencies,” Al Marri said.

Smart Police Station (SPS)

The inauguration ceremony attendees toured the newly-established Station with its smart police station (SPS) that provides policing service in seven languages to customers round the clock and without human intervention.

It enables them to complete transactions smoothly and without visiting the traditional police stations or waiting in queues.

Daily Brief Hall

Al Marri and other attendees have also visited the 'Daily Brief Hall' at the Station and briefed on the hall's smart functions that utilize artificial intelligence programmes to combat and reduce crime in the emirate as part of Dubai Police's efforts to ensure the safety of residents.

They were introduced to the proposed route of the security patrols through the intelligent security prediction system, which allows communication between the officials concerned.

Suburban Patrol

They were also introduced to the newly-found smart patrol equipped to attend to reports and emergencies in desert areas and rough terrain.

Colonel Ali Rashid Mubarak Al Ketbi, Acting Director of Al Khawaneej Police Station, confirmed that the Station is expected to increase the security coverage in the area and ensure residents' satisfaction with SPS services.
