Teachers must know the correct teaching methods, Sultan tells Sharjah Education Academy members

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, met, on Monday, the chairperson and members of the Board of Trustees of the Sharjah Education Academy (SEA), at the academy's building in the University City of Sharjah.

At the beginning of the meeting, Sheikh Sultan welcomed the members of the Board of Trustees who were chosen based on their great experience in the field of education, management and development of educational institutions and academies, whereas he pointed to the SEA great goals in developing workers in the educational sector, emphasising the role of education in building generations and spreading science and knowledge values and skills.

Sheikh Sultan stressed that teachers must know the correct teaching methods and continue to develop their skills to be able to deliver knowledge and useful science to students.

SEA Board of Trustees praised the continuous support and directives of the Ruler of Sharjah since the establishment of the academy, which contributed to achieving great and rapid progress in the academy level and programmes with the participation of large numbers of teachers from different countries of the world.

SEA Board of Trustees also provided an overview of the academy's plans to exercise its competencies, implement its programmes in cooperation with the Finnish University of Helsinki, and to develop future strategies.
