UAE reports 3,020 virus cases, administers 39,516 doses of vaccine

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced that it conducted 471,588 additional COVID-19 tests and detected 3,020 new coronavirus cases.

The infected individuals belong to different nationalities and are in a stable condition after receiving the necessary care.

All the test were conducted over the past 24 hours using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment.

The total number of recorded cases in the UAE has reached to 822,886.

Total number of deaths due to COVID-19 in the UAE reached to 2,211 after Ministry announced four more deaths due to COVID-19 related complications.

An additional 1,333 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19, which brings the total number of recoveries to 767,315.

39,516 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were given in the past 24 hours,” said Ministry statement.

According to the Ministry statement the total number of doses provided up to Saturday stands at 23,280,897 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 235.39 doses per 100 people.

Expressing its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased, the Ministry has called on all members of the society to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and physical distance to ensure the health and safety of all.
