School students have to undergo PCR test every two weeks in UAE

The UAE Ministry of Education said that all students are obliged to under a PCR test every two weeks after joining the school.

The Ministry adopted several precautionary measures to ensure the smooth return of the in-person education system.

The students are required to show a negative PCR test taken within 96 hours.

The authorities said that the remote learning option is still available for parents who want their children to continue education remotely while the pandemic in the country is re-evaluated.

School administrations will contact parents directly and provide them with information on the learning system and the current health situation.

The authorities said, “We urge parents to start undergoing PCR tests to avoid overcrowding in testing facilities and to assure the safety and health of all.”
