UAE citizenship body served 5,822 customers on Friday

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security provided its various services on the first working Friday to all segments of customers in light of the implementation of the government decision for the new work week system in the country.

In detail, the authority received 5,822 customers through the various departments and customer happiness centres. Visitors to the centers constituted 15.1% of the total services, while the authority completed 32,549 transactions, or 84.9% of the applications submitted electronically through the systems, through the smart services portal and the smart application of the authority, which embodied the largest segment of the total completed operations.

The authority clarified that the proactive package of services available achieved optimum awareness of customers towards being aware of the scheduled times regarding renewal of documents and others in a manner that enhanced meeting the aspirations of customers, while affirming the continuity of development to enhance the experience of various segments of society in order to achieve qualitative leadership through the service delivery system in the authority.
