The UAE ministers and prominent officials have congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on the 16th Anniversary of his accession.

Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, said on Twitter, “16 years since he took over the reins of power, he harnessed it to work and achievement.

In his heart, lives his family and all the people of the Emirates.

“In his thought, a vision that was ahead of its time, astonished the world and inspired minds. He established the best governments in the world, built the most beautiful cities on Earth, and led the Arabs to Mars. We are still inspired by his love of leadership, achieving the impossible, and making people happy.”

Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and member of the Dubai Council, said, “Sixteen years ago, we were racing against time under the rule of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

“We learned that success has no end line, that dreams become reality with diligent work, and that achieving goals is a duty for those who love leadership and love their homeland. He is the father leader who dazzled the world with his persistence, determination and belonging to the land of the impossible.”

Abdulrahman Bin Mohammed Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), has emphasised that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, had catapulted the UAE into new heights of excellence and prosperity and opened new avenues of innovation and creativity for his people.

Speaking on the 16th anniversary of Sheikh Mohammed’s accession to the throne, Al Owais said January 4 is an occasion to celebrate an inspirational leader with influential charisma. Sheikh Mohammed’s countless achievements can be seen everywhere in the country. He is a statesman with distinction and a great leader who laid solid foundations for the success of the UAE and established a unique model in leadership and management while focusing on developing human capital and creating leaders of the future.

“Sheikh Mohammed’s vision has made the UAE the beating heart of the future, the icon of tolerance, the land of opportunities and the capital of making the impossible possible. Under his leadership, the UAE has become a beacon of hope in the region, a maker of positive change, and a preferred destination for empowering young people, investing their creative energies, and improving the quality of life. Yes, it is Sheikh Mohammed who did it all!! Why not? He was taught by our founding fathers “Rashid and Zayed” and is now following in their footsteps,” the minister said.

Dr. Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention, and Head of Board of Directors of the Emirates Health Services (EHS) stressed that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is an exceptional and inspirational leader who has turned his people’s ambitions into a remarkable reality that we are living through.

“Sheikh Mohammed’s vision and leadership personality have resulted in radical transformations within a record time, which represented and still are the solid foundation upon which the UAE was established.
