UAE urges employees to take advantage of free PCR tests

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has announced free PCR tests for federal employees across the UAE.

The FAHR said on Twitter, “FAHR invite Federal Government employees, to get benefit from the free covid – 19 testing service provided by the Ministry of Health and Prevention through “Shifaa” App or scan the QR Code.”

According to the latest circular, the UAE from January 3 will restrict entry into all government institutions to people vaccinated against coronavirus and those who are exempted from getting the vaccine.

Under the new rules, effective from January 3, 2022, federal government employees must show a negative PCR test for COVID-19 every 14 days to maintain their green status on the UAE’s official Al Hosn app, in order to enter federal government offices.

The authority amended some procedures to address the Covid-19 pandemic at the level of the federal government, in line with the directions of the UAE government regarding the adoption of the application of the green traffic system, to enter all federal agencies for employees and auditors, in all emirates of the country
